NAT's NAMC-8569-CPU
module offers an 1.3 GHz MPC8569 PowerQUICC III PowerPC CPU with e500
PowerPC Core and 4 RISC Cores. Up to 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM, 512 KB MRAM, 2 GB
NAND flash and up to 128 MB NOR flash are available. The Lattice ECP3
FPGA with up to 70,000 logic cells and timeslot interchanger (TSI)
provides a TDM to I-TDM bridge. 125 µs and 1 ms I-TDM are supported as
well as TDM cross-connect. An opt. additional H.110 like 32 MHz clocked
TDM interface is available.
The NAMC-8569-CPU has four Gigabit Ethernet
ports, one RS-232 port, one USB 2.0 port, one MicroSD slot and opt. one
sub module slot for custom IO in the full size version. Two Gigabit
Ethernet ports, the RS-232 and the USB port are available on the front
panel. On the backplane are Serial Rapid IO (SRIO), PCI Express (PCIe)
and Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) available. The fabric interface can be
configured to implement either one PCIe x1 or one PCIe x4 or two SRIO x1
or one SRIO x4 or one PCIe x1 and one SRIO x1 port. The base interface
offers Gigabit Ethernet.
The module supports Embedded Linux, QNX
including SRIO support and the real time Open Kernel 1
(OK1), which will be delivered in source code.
