Gigabit Ethernet Ports The iNAV 3650 has an AMC.1 type 1 2.5 Gb/s PCI Express and AMC.2 type 2 E2 1000-Base BX Gigabit Ethernet interface. The telecom clocks can be configured as input and output on both CLK1 and CLK2 AMC lanes for master or slave synchronisation. The PCI Express clock is available on CLK3. Three different line synchronization modes can be used as internal clock, recovered clock or network reference via CLK1 or CLK2 AMC interface. Automatic Protection Switching (APS) allow OC-3 channel backup and bundling. With APS 1:3 it is able to achieve OC12 signals. The module support ATM to Ethernet Bridging. The Board Support Package consists of a documentation which explain the installing and configuration of Linux on the iNAV 3650 and the data to make running Linux on the iNAV 3650. A 450 MHz Wintegra™ WinPath™ 2 processor with 256 MB DDR SDRAM, 8 MB NOR Flash and 128 MB NAND Flash control the four OC-3/STM or one OC-12/STM interface. 64 MB DDR SDRAM for parameters, 256 MB DDR SDRAM onboard and opt. available 2 GB DDR SDRAM on a daughter board for packet buffering are possible. The Ethernet network interface is compliant to IEEE 802.3z for 1000Base-BX over Single mode Fibre. The iNAV 3650 is made for the applications ATM/POS to Gigabit Ethernet, Router/Bridges, Gateways, SSGN/GGSN, video conferencing, DSLAMs and BSC/RNC. Driver support for Linux.
