Ultra High-Performance Gigabit Ethernet Interface
with up to 12 Processor Cores
The Emerson AMC-9210 is a multi core processor AMC module. It
offers a Cavium Octeon PlusCN5840/ CN5850 processor with up to 12 cores. The cores
have up to 600 MHz clock rate. Up to 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM, 8 MB boot flash, 128 MB
flash memory and opt. 32 MB RLDRAM with NSP or SCP processor are
available.
The AMC-9210 has two RS232 ports and two Gigabit Ethernet controllers. On the
front panel are four
Gigabit Ethernet ports available and four ports via AMC port 0, 1, 8 and
9.
The SCP processor supports encryption, TCP acceleration, networking and
QOS. In addition the NSP supports reg-ex acceleration and compression/
decompression.
Driver support for Wind River PNE Linux und Monta Vista CGE Linux with Cavium Octeon extensions.
