FPGA AMC Module with 24 6.25 GHz SerDes
Interfaces
The BittWare S4-AMC is a mid size or full size AMC module
with an Altera Stratix IV GX FPGA. The FPGA
consists of 24 full duplex SerDes transceivers with 6.25 GHz, 3 full duplex SerDes
transceivers with 3.125 GHz, up to 530.000 equivalent LEs, 252 embedded 18x18 multipliers, and
20 Mbits of RAM.
The S4-AMC offers up to 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM, 18 MB
QDR2 RAM and 128 MB boot flash. One Ethernet, one RS232, one debug and
four 6.25 GHz SerDes ports are on the front panel available. Eight 6.25 GHz SerDes
ports, 60 LVDS pairs and 6 clocks are routed via a FMC connector. BittWare's
FINe Control bridge is a control plane and Gigabit Ethernet interface
which is routed to port 0. Ports 1 - 3 are configurable to support PCIe, Serial RapidIO,
and GbE. Ports 4 - 11 and 17 - 20 additional configurable to support
10GbE/XAUI via ATLANTis
Framework.
BittWare offers with ATLANTiS framework and Altera Quartus II software
tools to make developing and debugging applications easy and efficient.
Windows and Linux driver are available.
