FPGA Module
The TAMC640 is a mid size or full size AMC module with an
user configurable FPGA. The
Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA is
configured by a serial Flash. For memory extension 256 MB DDR2 SDRAM and
2 MB QDR-II SRAM banks are available. I/O processing is handled on a separate
VITA 57 FMC module that plugs into the FPGA base board. A variety of
these external I/O cards offer an interface for your analogue and
digital I/O signals.
The IPMI connectivity records
located inside the MMC (module management controller) can be modified by
the customer, to adapt to the different possible communication protocols
(PCIe, SRIO, XAUI, ...).
The Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA is
available in three versions. The LX50T and LX85T series are optimized for
high-performance logic applications and the SX50T series for high-performance
DSP applications.
A wide range of drivers is available: Linux, LynxOS, QNX Neutrino,
VxWorks and Windows. All drivers - except the Windows drivers - are
supplied as C source code.
