ATCA AMC Carrier Card with
24 GbE and two 10GbE Ports
The Interphase iNAV 31K G2 offers four mid size AMC
bays and support for Rear Transition Module
(RTM). The bay B4 can support a processor AMC which can work with the
optional PCI Express and control the SAS/SATA disk installed in bay B4.
The 24 Gigabit and two 10GbE Port LAN switch
provide four Gigabit links for each AMC bay and two Base Interface links,
Fabric Interface links, Board Computer Management (BMC) links and opt.
RTM. The ATCA 3.1 Fabric Interface support two 10GbE or Gigabit Ethernet links. Line rate switching is possible with IPv6
support, VLAN support, advanced QoS, link aggregation, port mirroring
and many other features.
The BMC consists of a
PowerPC 8347E with 667 MHz, up to 1 GB DDR RAM and Gigabit connections
to the local Ethernet switch. Telecom clock management provides the
ability
to accept a synchronization clock from any AMC bay or the backplane, and
to drive a clock to any combination of AMC bays. Full local and remote management is
provided through the BMC. The IPM controller is compliant with ATCA 3.0,
ATCA 3.1 and AMC specifications.
The optional PCIe x4 switch allows AMC.1 connections to each AMC bay, the RTM
and the BMC. The PCI Express switch is controlled by either the BMC or
AMC bay B4.
At the optional RTM the AMC ports 13-15
and 17-20
from AMC bays B1 through B4 are routed to the connector. The opt. x4 PCI
Express link support RTM management and Telecom clock I/O and IPM
controller connections.
The iNAV 31K G2 includes a
rich Software suite for the BMC and a fully featured firmware package for the IPM
controller. Boot monitor, Wind River PNE Linux driver support and full IP services
including DHCP and FTP are possible. A Command Line Interface and SNMP
allows a flexible configuration and management. Layer 2 switching
functionality support and Layer 3 routing with RIP v1/v2, OSPFv2 and
wire speed routing is available.
