Emerson Network Power's AXP1600 telecom shelf is designed for flexibility, enabling
an optimized rack layout to suit your application needs. A 12U
form-factor ensures that three AXP1600 shelves will fit into a single
42U telecom rack. PICMG 3.0 compliant IPMI shelf management and telco
alarms are integrated into a single module.
The backplane provides the passive connection point for all components
in the AXP1600 shelf. It supports two independent fabrics, the PICMG 3.0
base fabric and the PICMG 3.x data fabric, in a dual-star configuration.
The data fabric implementation is transport protocol agnostic, enabling
blades with any PICMG 3.X transport protocol interface to interconnect
via the fabric.
The AXP1600 shelf delivers the performance, flexibility and space
efficiency required to develop successful products for next-generation
networks.
