Board with 64 Processor Cores
Emerson Network Power's ATCA-9405 AdvancedTCA Blade-CPU offers two Cavium Octeon
II CN6880 processor with 64 cores. The 64 MIPS64 cores have a 1.2 GHz clock rate and up to
64 GB DDR III SDRAM. The board supports Gigabit Ethernet over PICMG 3.0 and PICMG
3.1.
Two Gigabit Ethernet front panel ports and
one RS-232 fron panel port are available. The Freescale QorIQ P2020 Dual
Core 1.0 GHz management processor provides one additional Gigabit
Ethernet port, RS-232 port, and one USB port. The backplane offers GbE, 10GbE,
and 40GbE. An
intelligent platform management (IPMI) controller monitors all local and
blade specific environmental information.
The board will be completely delivered with
the 6WIND SDK and Emerson Basic Blade Services (BBS). The BBS based on
the Wind River PNE 4.x Linux distribution and contains all necessary
drivers for the ATCA-9405. Also included is a switch management software
with L2 and L3 functionality.
Eight
additional 10Gigabit Ethernet and two Gigabit Ethernet ports are
available on the opt.
