Core i7 CPU Board for System Slot and Satellite Mode with Dual Gigabit Ethernet and opt. PMC Slot
ADLINK's cPCI-3970 CPU board is a 3U 4/8/12HP single-board computer for system slot or peripheral slot operations with Quad-Core Intel Core i7-2715QE or Dual-Core Intel Core i7-2655LE, Dual-Core Intel Core i7-2610UE or Dual-Core Intel Core i5-2515E CPUs with up to 2.9 GHz clock frequency and Turbo boost technology. The board is based on Intel's QM67 controller. Two SODIMM sockets for up to 16 GB ECC DDR3-1067/1333 SDRAM are available.

The cPCI-3970 offers two Gigabit Ethernet ports, up to seven USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 port, three RS-232/422/485 ports, one PS/2 keyboard/mouse port, one VGA graphic interface and one CompactFlash socket. Two DisplayPorts are available on 8HP versions. The 12HP version has one PMC or XMC site. Optional a 2.5'' SATA hard disk may be mounted on the 8HP and 12HP versions.

The cPCI-R3P00 transition module offer the two front panel Gigabit Ethernet ports and the front panel VGA port as Rear IO. In addition the transition module has two USB ports, two RS-232 ports, and three SATA.

The board supports Microsoft Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Fedora 14 and Wind River VxWorks.
