Interface Concept's ComEth3012a is a 5 port 3U CompactPCI
Fast Ethernet switch with full- and half duplex mode. Five RJ45 ports
are available on the front
panel. The ComEth3013a offers four additional RJ45 ports and one MTRJ port on the
front panel for multimode connections.
The ComEth301xa
series supports auto crossover, auto polarity and auto negotiation. Auto
negotiation is defined in IEEE 802.3u. The QoS allows to prevent packet
loss with back pressure or flow control. A virtual Marvell VCT cable
tester checks the cable. In addition the switch can
handles up to 2048 MAC addresses and is configurable over the EPROM or
the Light Management software. Two LEDs per port shows the
activity and link of the Ethernet connections on the front panel.
