Requirements
powerBridge Computer's RackPak/SM4 4U 19" Simple MicroTCA® system offers 8 double mid size AMC slots, one mid size HDD AMC
slot, one Switch AMC slot,
and one CPU AMC slot. The 8 double mid-size slots allow 24 different IO
modules using the
TAMC200 IndustryPack carrier. The RackPak/SM4
system is a low cost platform for medical, industrial automation,
transportation, military, and telecommunication applications.
The RackPak/SM4 includes a Simple MicroTCA Support Module (SSM)
which covers the basic functions of MCH and PM: carrier management, PCIe switching,
PCIe clock generation, power control functions, monitoring of
temperatures, voltages, and fans. Furthermore the SSM provides the line interfaces for the two Gigabit Ethernet ports (RJ-45)
of port 1 slot 1 and port 0 slot 11. The system management
interface is available via Fast Ethernet and offers SNMP support.
The system includes a 350W power supply. The dust
filter and all two fan cartridges with a total of eight fans are
hot-swappable. The backplane supports rear I/O for the AMC ports 12-20
slots 1-10. The area upside of slot 11 is for customer disposal or for
custom interfaces like keyboard, display, IO interfaces... . An optional
DC input power supply is also available.
The chassis is available in combination with
different AMC CPU
modules, e.g. Adlink's
AMC-1000,
or Emerson's PrAMC-7220. For IO
intensive applications the
TAMC200 is
appropriate choice.
The system can be customized to your needs.
