EPIC Board with three Graphics Ports
Ampro's ReadyBoard 83740 industrial EPIC board is based on a Intel
ICH8-M chip set with a
Single Core 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 or a Single Core 1.66 GHz Intel
Atom D410 or a Dual Core 1.66 GHz Intel Atom D510
processor. The module has up to
2 GB 667/800 MHz DDR2 memory. It provides
three graphics ports with DirectX 9
compliant Pixel Shader v2.0 and MPEG2 hardware acceleration. In addition
up to 2048x1536 pixel resolution on VGA,
1366x768 pixel resolution on LVDS and 1600x1200 pixel resolution on DVI.
Opt. 1080p HD video playback with H.264 video decoder is supported.
The ReadyBoard 740 has one Gigabit
Ethernet port, six USB ports, four
RS232/422/485 ports, two SATA ports, HD audio interface,
keyboard/mouse interface, and eight GPIO lanes. In addition a 4GB
onboard SSD is available.
The EPIC board uses an AMI BIOS with
CMOS backup and supports the
operating systems embedded
Linux, VxWorks 6.6, QNX6.4, Windows CE 6.0, Windows XP Embedded,
and Windows 7.
Since more than 25 years, Ampro by Adlink is
designing embedded products for harsh environment conditions. In the
early design phase, Ampro consequently incorporates rugged design rules
and guidelines, to withstand shock and vibrations and wide temperature.
The PCB material, for instance, is thicker than normal, additional
layers are giving a better heat dissipation.
