Emerson Network Power's MATXM-CORE-411-B industrial MicroATX motherboard is based on a mobile Intel QM57 express chip set with a socket for Intel Core i7 processors up to 2.6 GHz. The motherboard has two SO-DIMM sockets for up to 8 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, one PCIe x16 slot, three PCIe x1 slots, and one PCIe Mini Card slot. The PCIe Mini Card slot supports WiMAX/WiFi Link 5050 and WiFi Link 5000.

The Intel QM57 chip set supports dual-independent graphics. The primary signal is either LVDS or VGA, the secondary is HDMI. The MATXM-CORE-411-B offers two rear side USB ports, two 12V and a 24V USB port. Two SATA interfaces are available onboard, and a third one on the midplane. The midplane offers additional cabling points for power and LEDs. It creates a level of modularity and allows easy and cost-efficient service.

There is a Z-U130 socket for up to 16 GB FLASH. PS2 mouse and keyboard ports, HD audio ports, a GbE port, and an eSATA port are also available. Wake-on-LAN and AMT6 are supported.

The motherboard uses an Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) BIOS from AMI and supports the operating systems Windows XP, Vista, WEPOS, and SuSE LES 11.

The embedded development kit MATXM-CORE-411-WR contains the MATXM-CORE-W11-B together with the Core i7-620M processor, cooler, and 2 GB RAM. In addition a bootable 16 GB USB stick (host image), a bootable 4 GB USB stick (target image), a RS232 adapter, a RS232 cable, an Ethernet cable, Wind River operating systems, tools, embedded hypervisor, and graphics software. The Wind River Hypervisor 1.1 embedded virtualization software combined with the USB sticks allows an easy installation of VxWorks 6.8 RTOS, Wind River Linux 3.0.2, and th shared development suite Workbench 3.2.
