Ultra Low-power Vortex PC/104 Module
Ampro's CoreModule 430 industrial PC/104 module has a 800 MHz
Vortex86DX processor or 300 MHz Vortex86SX SoC processor. 256 MB DDR2
RAM are soldered on the module. It provides a 64bit 100 MHz 2D graphics
engine with 32 or 64 MB DDR2 RAM and up to 1600 x 768 pixel resolution.
The integrated video controller supports 3,3/5V flat panels and TFTs.
The CoreModule 430 has one Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports, two RS232
ports, two RS232/422/485 ports, one keyboard/mouse port, one
Parallel/Floppy interface, one EIDE port, CompactFlash on
primary IDE, and eight GPIO lanes.
The PC/104 module uses a BIOS from AMI and supports the
operating systems QNX v6.3, Windows CE 6.0, and 5.0.
For more than 25 years, Ampro by Adlink is designing
embedded products for harsh environment conditions. In the early design
phase, Ampro consequently incorporates rugged design rules and
guidelines, to withstand shock and vibrations and wide temperature. The
PCB material, for instance, is thicker than normal, additional layers
are giving a better heat dissipation.
