Ultra Low-power Intel Atom PC/104 Module
Ampro's CoreModule 740 industrial PC/104 module has a 1.6 GHz
Intel Atom N450 processor. 512 MB DDR2
RAM are soldered on the module. It provides 200 MHz graphics
engine with DirectX 9 support which is integrated in the Atom N450
processor. Additional there is one 18bit LVDS interface and one VGA
port.
The CoreModule 740 has two USB 2.0 ports, two RS232
ports, one keyboard/mouse port, one EIDE port, one Parallel and Floppy
interface.
The PC/104 module uses a BIOS from AMI and supports the
operating systems Linux, Windows CE 6.0, XPe, VxWorks 6.6, and QNX 6.4.
For more than 25 years, Ampro by Adlink is designing
embedded products for harsh environment conditions. In the early design
phase, Ampro consequently incorporates rugged design rules and
guidelines, to withstand shock and vibrations and wide temperature. The
PCB material, for instance, is thicker than normal, additional layers
are giving a better heat dissipation.
