Fast Serial Interface with PowerQUICC II Processor and up to 500MIPS
The Interface IC-SER-PMCd is a 4 port serial PMC mezzanine module. The physical interface can be selected by software individually for each channel from EIA-232, EIA-422, EIA-530A, V.10, V.11 or HIZ. Each controller implements a local FIFO and DMA channel and supports the promiscuous mode.

Each channel of the module supports RXD, TXD, RTS, CTS, DSR, DCD, DTR, TXCJ, RXCK and TXCKO signals. An FPGA controller guarantees long term availability and having the option to implement additional functions in the future.

The IC-SER-PMCd supports various serial communication protocols such as asynchronous or synchronous. The serial ports are routed on a HD68 connector on the front panel or to P14. The IC-SER-PMCd is also available in -20°C ... +65°C extended temperature range .

Board Support Packages are available for LINUX and VxWorks. Other OS can be ported on request.
