RackPak VMEbus Rack mounting Chassis
The RackPak series of VMEbus packaging systems are completely closed compact 19"-racks with a deepened VMEbus card cage, including backplane, power supply, cooling and a monitoring module for voltages, temperature, and SYSFAIL. RackPaks are available in 3, 4, and 8 U height with 5, 7, and 8..20 VMEbus slots. 6U boards with Scanbe or IEEE 1101 handles are supported. The chassis additionally provides 5, 7, or 17 6U transition module slots in the rear.

Front panel IO connections can be routed to the rear transition modules inside the housing. A hinged front door sealed with EMC gaskets enables the use of EMC-critical boards.

The mounting of accessible drives or internal disk drives is supported. RackPak chassis are the first choice for environments with high demands on operating temperatures and/or EMC-shielding.

Increased Demands
For applications with increased demands to operating temperature, as well as shock, and vibrations strength, a customized 6U rugged version with 10 VMEbus slots and 12 transition module slots is available. More information on request.

Warranty
We guarantee that all board products from our scope can be operated in RackPAK chassis within EN 55022 class B emission limits. We gladly advise you on all questions relating EMC - please address us.

Customized Solutions
Besides our standard chassis, we offer individually tailored solutions for special applications. This includes self-evident non-19" chassis. Use our experience, we gained from applications at increased demands for ambient temperature and special requirements to shock, vibration, and EMC hardening.
