TEWS Technologies TVME8240A VMEbus CPU board provides 4 IP slots operating with 8 or 32MHz. The board
is powered by Motorola's high
integrated MPC8245 PowerPC processor featuring a MPC603e core, an
efficient DRAM controller, and a PCI interface. The TVME8240A provides
256MB 64 bit SDRAM and optional Fast Ethernet
and SCSI
interfaces.
The rear I/O pinning is compliant to Motorola's MVME162.
The
MVME712M transition module, the MVME712P2 P2 adapter, and the IOP162
transition module can be used. Combining a MPC8245 processor, IndustryPack slots to
a high performance
I/O building block the TVME8240 targets applications in industrial automation, telecommunication,
medical technology, and traffic control.
The TVME8240A offers a PCI expansion connector for
the TVME230 quad IP carrier and Motorola's PMCspan PMC carrier. With
PMCspan boards the TVME8240A can be extended with 2 or 4 additional PMC sites.
The board is also as TVME8300
with rear I/O for the IP slots available.
