AMC CPU Board with COM-HPC Mini Module for 13th Generation Intel® Core™ i Processors

The AMC processor board with COM-HPC Mini module slot is a powerful embedded platform for industrial and real-time critical applications. The board is equipped with 13th generation Intel® Core™ i processor (Raptor Lake) and offers high computing power in mid-size form factor. Processor options include the 14-core 3.7 GHz Intel® Core™ i7-1370PRE or the 12-core 3.4 GHz Intel® Core™ i5-1350PRE and the 8-core 3.3 GHz Intel® Core™ i3-1320PRE. The integrated LPDDR5-6000 ECC SDRAM with upt o 64 GB is soldered and ensures maximum reliability. A M.2 2230 M-Key slot with PCIe Gen3/4 x4 and an optional 128 GB NVMe SSD ensures fast data storage. Extensive I/O interfaces such as two 2,5GBASE-T Ethernet ports, a USB-C port with DisplayPort support and for connecting USB peripherals, a micro-USB port for accessing the board console, and an SSMC clock input for external synchronization enable flexible system integration.

The AHP_1300 CPU board is equipped with a Xilinx Artix-7 companion FPGA. The FPGA can be configured with an XC7A12T, XC7A25T, or XC7A50T device. The companion FPGA is connected to the COM-HPC Mini module via SPI, I2C, and GPIOs, and to the PCIe switch via PCIe. The companion FPGA is used in parallel with the main processor to perform specific, computationally intensive, or time-critical tasks, offering a flexible solution for triggers, locks, and customer-specific communication requirements of real-time applications.

The AMC backplane supports two PCIe x4 Gen4 links or, alternatively, a PCIe x8 Gen5 connection (with Intel® Raptor Lake H series), supplemented by two SATA III ports, dual 1GBASE-T Ethernet links, and a TCLKA clock input. The AMC carrier board with COM-HPC Mini module is therefore a future-proof solution for powerful embedded and real-time systems.

The system supports Windows 11 as well as the TenAsys INTime® real-time operating system and is ideal for demanding embedded, automation, and real-time applications in industrial automation, measurement technology, telecommunications, and defense.
