TPMC160 8 Channel Automotive Sensor Simulator for PSI5 and Wheel Speed Sensors

PMC module with eight galvanically isolated automotive sensor simulation channels that can be operated either as PSI5 or wheel-speed sensors. The sensor simulation channels of the Tews Technologies TPMC160 are galvanically isolated against each other as well as against the system.

PSI5 simulation supports the PSI5-P, PSI5-U, and PSI5-D bus topologies as well as data rates of 125 kbit/s and 189 kbit/s. Asynchronous and variably time triggered synchronous operation modes are supported. In addition, PSI5 sync and reset pulses can be detected.

The wheel speed simulation supports sensors with two and three current levels, sensors with additional status information, and the VDA/AK protocol. Current sinks with three adjustable current levels are available for sensor simulation. An option for customer-specific protocols is also available.

All TPMC160 signals are available via an HD50 SCSI-2 front I/O connector.

Drivers are available for Linux, Integrity, QNX, VxWorks, and Windows.
