QMC Module with 4 Port RS232/422/485 Serial Interface

QMC module offering 4 channel high performance serial controllers with individually programmable RS232, RS422, and RS485 interfaces. RS232 channels support TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, CD, RI and GND, and RS422 channels support RxD+/- and TxD+/-. RS422 channels can operate in 4-wire full duplex and RS485 channels can operate in 4-wire full duplex or 2-wire half duplex mode. On-chip switchable termination of 120Ω is provided for the RS422/RS485 interfaces. Each channel has 256 byte transmit and receive FIFOs. The FIFO trigger thresholds, and the baud rates are individually programmable: up to 1 Mbps for RS232 channels, and 20 Mbps for RS422/485 channels. For fast interrupt source detection the UART provides a special global interrupt source register.

A wide range of drivers is available: Linux, LynxOS, Integrity, QNX, VxWorks and Windows. All drivers - except the Windows drivers - are supplied as C source code.
