QMC Module with 16 digital Inputs and 16 digital Outputs

QMC module with 16 interrupt-capable digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. All interfaces of the TEWS Technologies TQMC602 feature galvanic isolation and are isolated from each other in groups of 8.

Each input can be operated with signalling voltages from 15 to 60 volt. The individual inputs share a common ground input. The groups of 8 inputs are potential free to each other. A high performance input circuit has a defined switching point and polarization protection against confusing the pole. All inputs have an electronic debounce circuit with programmable debounce time and can generate an interrupt. The signal edge handling is programmable.

All outputs can deliver 5 to 36 volt and up to 0.3 ampere. All outputs are protected against short circuts, reverse polarity, thermal overload as well as overcurrents up to 65 volt. The status of the individual fault indicators is software readable. Each group can be configured as a high-side switch or low-side switch. A hardware watchdog clears all outputs in case of trigger failure.

Integrity, VxWorks, QNX, Windows, and Linux drivers are available.
