The HORNET is a robust 2-slot COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) system that is optimized in terms of size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) and designed for use in harsh environments. The system is based on an Intel® processor connected to a GPGPU or FPGA and offers options for a variety of I/O interfaces and high-capacity removable storage. With its 10G TSN Ethernet capabilities, it ensures synchronized data exchange with low latency, which is critical for modern, networked operations.
