4 Channel 16-bit 80 MS/s PXI Express Digitizer

16-bit AD converter with 4 single-ended inputs. Each input channel of the ADLINK PXIe-9834 PXI Express Digitizer provides up to 80 MS/s sampling rate, which allows simultaneous recording of signals on all channels without phase delay between channels. The board has an external digital trigger input as well as triggers from the PXIe system timing slot and a reference clock from the PXIe chassis, allowing simultaneous recording of a high channel count of 8, 12, 16 and 20 channels. The digitizer is also equipped with 1GB of onboard memory for data buffering before transferring back to system memory. The PCI Express x4 Gen1 data bus has 16GB/s of system bandwidth for direct streaming of ADC data back to the system. The 4 analog inputs, SMA connector for an external trigger input (TRG IN) and SMA connector for external 20 MHz to 80 MHz sampling clock and external 10 MHz reference clock (CLK IN) are provided on the front panel.

The PXIe-9834 board features an analog front-end with a flexible input range of ±10V (for 1MΩ only), ±5V, ±1V, and ±0.5V, as well as software-selectable 50Ω or 1MΩ input impedance. The analog front end provides high accuracy, low noise, and high dynamic range due to its automatic calibration. This makes it suitable for accurate measurement of DC signals and also for analysis of AC signals.

The PXIe-9834 digitizer is perfect for a variety of applications, including radar signal acquisition, optical fiber measurement, and power signal analysis.

Drivers are available for Linux and Windows.
