ComEth4050e 32 Port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2/3 Switch

6U CompactPCI 1/10/40 Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2/3 Switch with up to 32 ports. Powered by the newest Marvell highly integrated system-on-chip (SoC) with programmable packet processors, Interface Concept's ComEth4050e series is fully backward compatible and provides a high 10/40 Giga Ethernet port count. The boards are available in two variants. Option 1 has 24 GbE ports via J3, J4 and J5, plus an additional 8 GbE SFP+ front panel ports. Option 2 offers 20 GbE ports over J3, J4 and J5 plus an additional 8 GbE SFP+ front panel ports and a mezzanine with front interfaces. The mezzanine is available with 4 front SFP+ (1/10 Gbps), 2 front 1/2.5/5/10 BaseT or 1 front QSFP+ (40Gbps) ports.

The ComEth40x0e matrix coupled with an independent management processor is controlled by Switchware, the field-proven Interface Concept network management application. Switchware supports a wide range of Ethernet protocols and has an easy to use graphical user interface (GUI).

In addition to a non-Flash device, a removable Flash disk allows storing switch configuration files and logs, offering flexibility to the user, and allowing sanitization when needed.

The ComEth4050e series comes in four different environment classes from standard (0°C to 55°C), extended temperature (-20°C to +65°C), rugged convection-cooled (-40°C to +75/85°C) up to conduction-cooled (-40°C to +75/85°C).
