IC-CMC-VPX3b 3U VPX Board with PMC/XMC slots

3U VPX board with PMC/XMC slot. The Interface Concept IC-CMC-VPX3b board is a 32/64bit 33/66/100/133 MHz 3U PMC/XMC carrier for the VPX bus with rear IO. It also offers two M.2 slots for 2242 type cards and an RS232 maintenance port via P1.

8 lanes are routed from the VPX backplane to the XMC Pn5 connector. x1, x2, x4 or x8 PCI Express configuration is supported. 4 lanes are routed from the VPX backplane to a PCIe/PCI bridge supporting 32/64bit 33/66MHz PCI and 32/64bit 66/100/133 MHz (3.3V PCI bus signaling) PCI-X.

The IC-CMC-VPX3b can act as a system controller when a processor mezzanine board (PMC or XMC) is mounted. In this case the IC-CMC-VPX3b can monitor the power supplies and provide 25MHz reference clock. The board is powered from VS3 (5V) which is also used to deliver the VPWR for the XMC module. If 12V is claimed on VPWR or if more than 3W is required by the mezzanine board on the 3.3V, version using the VS1 (+12V) or optionnal VS2 (+3.3V) can be delivered.

The IC-CMC-VPX3b is aligned with the SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) technical standard. The SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) consortium is a voluntary, consensus-based member consortium of the Open Group, a vendor-neutral technology standards organization that develops an open technical standard for sensors.

The board is available in six different environment classes from standard (0°C to 55°C), extended temperature (-20°C to +65°C), rugged (-40°C to +75°C), rugged (-40°C to +85°C), conduction-cooled (-40°C to +71°C) and conduction-cooled (-40°C to +85°C).
