Conduction-cooled Quad 1000BASE-KX Ethernet XMC Module

Quad channel conduction-cooled Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-KX interface. A PCIe switch provides access to four Intel I210IS Gigabit Ethernet controllers which support a transfer rate of 1000 Mbps. The controller is equipped with 64 Mbit serial flash to support PXE and iSCSI boot. The Tews Technologies TXMC391 supports IEEE 1588/802.1AS Precision Time Protocol (PTP) and IEEE 802.1Qav Audio/Video Bridging (AVB) traffic shaping (with software extensions). The TXMC391-10R XMC module routes all four Ethernet ports to the rear I/O P16 connector. All ports are assigned in the X12d range, which is defined in the VITA46.9 standard. LEDs on the board indicate the different network activities.
