2 or 4 Port 10Gigabit Ethernet Interface

XMC module with up to four 10Gigabit Ethernet ports. The TEWS Technologies TXMC897 offers a 2-channel 100Base-TX / 1000Base-T / 2.5GBase-T / 5GBase-T / 10GBase-T Ethernet and optionally a 2-channel SFP+ 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface. The XMC connector P15 is connected to a 10 Gigabit Ethernet controller via a PCIe x8/x4 lane. The XMC module is equipped with a 64 Mbit serial flash for configuration data and memory for boot ROM.

All TXMC897 channels are capable of performing an auto-negotiation algorithm to automatically determine the best connection parameters with the remote site. The TXMC897 supports IEEE 1588/802.1AS Precision Time Protocol (PTP).

The TXMC897-10R provides two front panel RJ45 ports. The TXMC897-20R provides two 10GBase-T Ethernet front panel ports via RJ45 and two 10Gigabit Ethernet front panel ports via SFP+.
